Elizabeth Simmons, IBCLC

Elizabeth holds a Bachelor's of Science in Nutrition from Appalachian State University and is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant.  She has worked with breastfeeding mothers since 2013 and became an IBCLC in 2017. Elizabeth has obtained her Master Class certification to better assist babies with oral restrictions that are affecting latch. Elizabeth and her husband, Joseph have three small children, Jack (7), Ellie (4) and Henry (1).  After many years of living in Alabama she is relocating to the DC area.  Her mission is to help families meet their breastfeeding goals by offering compassionate and evidence-based feeding support.  She works with families on many different types of feeding concerns and provides support at all stages, from prenatal education through weaning.  Her favorite part of being an IBCLC is seeing new moms gain confidence in feeding their baby while they meet their breastfeeding goals.
